The Nostalgic Dream Of A Piano

There's not too long ago
You remember the days of the horn, lace?
We got drunk in the pathetic
Those were the days of nostalgic piano

Farewell tunes that we were following week
And knew we rejoice when we lived the worst
But already long since you've been forgotten
You're more of our time, stay in your museums

What are your pianos
That you replaced with music boxes
For pennies that you take two drives in quick succession
Let's hope it plays, we who cares

These are all worn out your pianos that have paralyzed silent
And who are no longer objects of antiquities
Which once delighted the salons
And they were the great kings of the song

But still, we remember you
And it is with regret that we know you dumb
But tonight, I love you
And I want you to sing
You subtract that life
Well your brother's poems

What are your pianos
That you replaced with music boxes
For pennies that you take two drives in quick succession
Let's hope it plays, we who cares

These are all worn out your pianos
Who are silent and paralyzed that are no longer objects of antiquities
Which once delighted the salons
And they were the great kings of the song

Farewell tunes that we were following week
And knew we rejoice when we lived the worst
But already long since you've been forgotten

Yet there is not much time
You remember the days of the horn, lace?
We got drunk in the pathetic
Those were the days of nostalgic piano

Curiosity, (Sooner and Later) 3:30 A.M.

Hunting lake on a moonlit night,
I want you, 'Naked', 'Blind'.
Mock me, "What you want from mine?"
Silence, silence it’s a savage time.

Fallen stars falling from height
Darkness decent in the hunter’s mind
Into the sand he pushing tight
The sun hits the mole; it became blind.

Woman love, womankind,
Touch the heart, touch the mind,
The prophet saves the holy knight
Crucified the sheep like the Christ.

Broken mirror, the loveless child,
Burning desert in witch's mind,
She will make you immortal might,
To leave the garden and taste the bride.

"I Was Scared of Virgins," - My entry for the Get Published contest

The Idea:  I was four, when I sent to ‘Saraswati Shishu Mandir,’ a Sanskrit toll pre-school for boys. Sanskrit was a compulsory subject for us and we have to pray a lot of chants daily before our classes began. I completed my standard 4th from theirs. The teachers teach us many formalities, but the most important was “You must respect all women. Every woman is your mother and every virgin are your sisters!”

I was sent to High School, and it was also a boy's only. I studied their eight years, till my 12th and I never ever talk any girl until 18. I was too shy! At this stage another remarkable thing happened; I was travelled to North India with my parents at standard 6th. It was also my first visit at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh where I visited a Hanuman Mandir, a giant statue of Hanuman standing with his great hammer. The priest of the temple noticed me and gave a Hanuman Chalisa free of cost. After returning home, I start investigation on the character of Hanuman and I discovered my childhood education of the Sanskrit toll is transparently visible in Lord Hanuman's character. I become a fan!

Then I took admission in college and this time it was co-ed. But I was lucky, in my class there are only five girls and 29 boys, and I easily escaped conversation with girls and had friends only from the boys. Even at exam time boys and girls were separated to different rooms for papers, so I never talk to the girls till 21. Three years of college life passed and even today I cannot remember any special moment. Every single day of my college seems as same as to me. When I already past 21 years of my life and become a graduate of Calcutta University.

At this stage of life, I became very introvert and frustrated. I walk on the street never look at any women. No problem to talk with a married women because they are married and feel like my mother! But I was scared about virgins; if I fall in love with anyone then Hanuman must be angry with me and will leave me forever. But I never took any alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or steroids to relife from frustration. I always loved to watch cartoons and read novels and never lost my confidence in me. A friend of me had given me some hard rock CDs to listen and you cannot imagine it catches my mind at once and I started listening hard rock, then death metal, black metal and finally stopped at gore metal. You cannot imagine it works on me more than any drugs. I growled, I screamed, I shouted; buy a guitar; after one year I felt I was addicted in this hectic music. Finally out of over frustration I left all of it.

Last year I went to attend University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for a post graduation and here my life becomes totally changed. When I first came, I was very shy to speak with my classmates, but I always tried not to show my weakness. Here my PG batch was dominated by the girls and it made me speak to them. I always tried to be very frank, and honest with them. Finally it was a girl who invited me to her home for dinner and I become so nervous that day; I still remember I cannot sleep at that night. It was also the first time in my life that she offered me a ride on her bike and she was the first virgin I hardly look at her face. When I return from Lucknow my life was full of happiness. It is like someone has lightened up the dark side of my life or someone has bewitched me with her magic spells. Perhaps this little friendly welcome from that girl fulfilled my all unfulfilled desires of past 21years.

What Makes This Story ‘Real':
It is a funny story about my educational life. I think everyone will enjoy it.

***End note: This is my entry for the HarperCollins–IndiBlogger Get Published the contest, which is run with inputs from Yashodhara Lal andHarperCollins India.

What is religion? What was before religion? Do you confused between religion and faith? Are you religious?

The modern men or the Homo sapience developed some 3 million years ago. Do you know? The oldest religion on earth is ‘Humanity’ or in scientific language natural selection" by which to work"’. The Aryans are the founder of the paganism which is well known as The Vedantism is 4510 years (i.e. flourished from 2500BC to 1500BC) is the oldest religion in the earth. Today we called that religion, The Hinduism. Another old religion in the earth is The Zoroastrianism is 1500BC older. Therefore, come The Christianity and we already left 2010 years with this belief. Among the major world religions, The Islam is modern among the others (i.e. began in Mecca about 610CE). Chinese religions begin from 1600BC. So there is no religion before 2500BC. Here I make a simple mathematical calculation:

Hinduism (2500BC + 2010) = 4510 Years
Zoroastrianism (1500BC + 2010) = 3510 Years
Buddhism (500BC + 2010) = 2510 Years
Christianity 2010CE = 2010 Years
Islam (2010CE – 610CE) = 1400 Years

So, here is the result. Before the invention of religion, we have no Heaven and Hell. There is no ‘Ishwar', ‘God’ or ‘Allah’.

"The ice age" refers to the most recent colder period that peaked at the Last Glacial Maximum approximately 20,000 years ago, in which extensive ice sheets lay over large parts of the North American and Eurasian continents. At that ice age, the Homo sapience was started living in the society. If so then make me a simple calculation once again, (20,000 – 4510 = 15490 years) men born, died and they did not worship any idol, built any temple, or pray to any god. Can you give me an answer where their souls went after death? Hell or Heaven? on

I have two different point of views. Firstly, The Bible says God created the earth in seven days and seven nights and He created men on the very last day. Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species, published in 1859, is a seminal work of scientific literature, considered to be the foundation of evolutionary biology of human evolution. The concept of human origin by The Holy Bible turned into a fabricated story and that proved we are not born of Adam and Eve. Before 4510, no man has any idea about god, then how Adam and Eve worshiped god from the very day of creation. If so then they are not belong to the species of Homo sapience that took over 2.5 million years in their development. So, the Church fabricated such stories for their own beneficial interest. The Hindus brought the concept of Narok (i.e. the Hell) in the Vedic Period, but before Vedic Period no Homo sapience went to Narok after their death. Islam makes thousand mistakes in explaining their religion; it is an abstract religion which has problems to improve, so Islam has no power to send the Homo sapience to the hell.

Secondly, if they all went to heaven, then I am appreciate your answer because they have no realization of good and evil then they were innocent, and god is always merciful and He must forgive them all. So all of these Homo sapience died before 2500BC went to heaven because they had no idea of god and they did good and bad things without judgment. So they were considered innocent by god and forgiven by Him for their unawareness. Is it sounds believable? No Nah. Though it is totally my idea, but I also do not believe such answer. So the concept is totally bullshit. Is it? Think my dear friends. Here I am not selling you a ticket for Heaven and Hell.

I personally do not believe in any religion. To me, faith is my religion. We all know what is good and what is bad? And it is always our choice that which way to follow. I can remind a line from Paradise Lost of Milton where Satan chose the wrong way to fight the eternal war against God, “Which way shall I fly-infinite wrath or infinite despair?" We should not be confused with our faith. If you have faith in yourself then you will the gainer of happiness in life, if not then you have to suffer. There is no heaven and hell, all the happiness, all the suffering is here, and you are the man who has to dig his own path of success. We are not born of fortune; we are the creator of our own fortune. Humanity is the only definition of life that we born for. We can build our own heaven in earth. If a half-fed beggar sleeps every night without taking sleeping pills then he is happier than the rich men who need drugs to sleep.

The Western Spice Successfully Mixed Up in Indian Taste

Yesterday evening I was watching the movie ‘The Mistress of Spices’ acted by Dylan McDermatt and Aishwarya Rai. My uncle’s son, 6 also was there and at last when the mystery of the mistress is opened by Dylan, the little boy asked “Why he took off her sharee?” I just paused the movie and cut the scene and become little confused to give him an answer. And as a quick reply I told him that I also didn’t know why he took off her sharee. But he made such a face in reaction that clearly told me that he was not pleased by my answer. He is a six years kid what can I explain to him?

I think the aggressiveness of foreign media will show no mercy to save our Indian social culture. We are so much Westernized that even it creating doubts to the mind of our kids, what they will learn to kiss their classmates after fourteen or to be completely honest to save social tradition. I think there are two ways to save Indian kids, firstly stop media amusement completely in television programs, internet and daily tabloids with the news of hot city life and modern lifestyle. Secondly just don’t worry about your kids when they like to grow up in western style. The western spices are successfully mixed up in Indian dishes now. It is impossible to stop fastest growing foreign media. So don’t worry my dear city parents if your son or daughter comes after 2.00AM from an adulthood party inspired by American Pies. It’s our time to become modern like the Americans and sacrifice our boring old f**king Indian cultures and traditions, who writes the poem “East is east and west is west and that two can never meet”; dear Sir your dreams become true by the boon and psychosocial brainwash of modern media. Now we had learned to bang our heads in rock music and wear the sexiest bras and bikinis to become more attractive to impress partners.
